Quality Management
Continuous quality development and assurance in teaching and studying are fundamental goals of FAU. Quality management follows a decentralized approach, which preserves the greatest possible autonomy of all involved and takes into account subject-specific characteristics.
The development of an internal university QM system in the area of teaching and studies for all faculties, geared to the requirements of system accreditation, was already decided by the university management in 2009. In November 2013, FAU’s application for admission to the system accreditation procedure was accepted by the responsible committee of the accreditation agency AQAS and the procedure was opened. On May 9, 2016, the accreditation agency AQAS certified FAU’s successful completion of the system accreditation process. As a system-accredited university, FAU is entitled to award the seal of the Accreditation Council to its modularized degree programs.
If you have any questions regarding quality management in teaching and studies at the Faculty of Medicine, please contact the Dean of Studies or the Q-Coordinator.
